Mekren's has been a family-run bakery since 1899, tucked into the heart of Nadur, Gozo. Generation after generation, we've baked our ftira, pizza and qassatat the old way — slow-proofed dough, the freshest local ingredients, and a traditional wood-fired oven that gives every bite its unmistakable character.
Locals stop by on the way to Ramla Bay; travellers cross the channel just to taste it. In 2022 we brought that same recipe to Qormi — so a little piece of Gozo is never too far away.
